WELCOME TO TORTUGA PRESS!

Tortuga Press has been publishing children's books of distinction since 1997. We chose the name Tortuga, which means turtle in Spanish, to reflect our roots in publishing quality children's books in Spanish. We've since branched out to picture books in English, including musical books with audio CDs. The Jazz Fly, and Gobble, Quack, Moon, written and performed by Matthew Gollub, have won numerous awards and between them have sold around 60,000 copies. We have also been thrilled to produce new books with cd's by David M. Schwartz, Dennis Hysom and Christine Walker—-including our first Spanish book with cd titled Superabuelo.
